| If you have questions about displaying a tree, please call Ken Ellis at 612-781-7111 or email me at ken_ellis@comcast.net This is an open invitation to our MBS members who have fine display bonsai to participate in the Art in Bloom at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Dates are April 28th for set-up. Display is from April 29 through May 2. Take-down is Monday, May 3. MBS members wanting to show one bonsai will need to attend the art selection (Thursday evening, February 4th in the Wells Fargo Room at 5:00 PM; or, Friday morning, February 5th at 10:00 AM). Photos of available art pieces will be on display and interested exhibitors will need to select which piece they want to interpret with their flower/bonsai arrangement. Potential exhibitors can also go to the gallery to see the actual art piece. Set up, maintenance (watering), and take-down will be the responsibility of the exhibitor. MBS has had bonsai on display for Art in Bloom nearly every year this event has been held….can YOU participate this year? Back to Home Page |
